The "Mildred Dresselhaus Guest Professorship Program", which was installed by CUI, honors outstanding female natural scientists who are leading in their field of science. In 2018, the organizing team of the program has been awarded Universität Hamburg’s Equal Opportunity Price with the idea to arrange a conference. Thus, the entire prize money will go to the conference.
