16. ISTR Conference

The 16th International Conference of the International Society for Third Sector Research  on „Crisis After Crisis After …: What about the Third Sector?” was held from July 16 to 19 in Antwerp, Belgium. Prof. Dr. Silke Boenigk, Dr. Laura Hesse and Charlotte Labbafi took part.

The ISTR Conference brings together the international community of nonprofit researchers, policy makers and nonprofit practitioners. Current topics in nonprofit research and practice are discussed, it also offers a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas.

Charlotte Labbaffi's presentation “Strategic Brand Management in Nonprofit Organizations: Empirical Insights on the Implementation Gap in German NPOs” provided insights into the current state of her research in the area of Nonprofit Branding. Dr. Laura Hesse presented her latest findings on Peer-to-Peer Fundraising with the topic “Transforming Peer Donors into Organizational Donors: Understanding and Managing Peer Donor Transformation”.
