Silke Boenigk has been a member of the ServCollab research association since 2019. The abbreviation stands for "Serving Humanity Through Collaboration" and its mission is "To serve humanity through service research collaborations that catalyze reducing human suffering and improving human wellbeing.” Founded by one of the leading service researchers, Prof. Dr. Ray Fisk (Texas State University), Prof. Dr. Silke Boenigk is particularly committed to "Transformative Services and Refugees". Together with Prof. Dr. Fisk and Prof. Dr. Kabadayi, she also shared the chair of the track "TSR and Refugees" at the 2019 Transformative Consumer Research Conference, Florida.
