From August 31 to September 01, 2023, the "International Dialogue on the Governance of Refugee Camps" (video link) was held at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) in Lund (Sweden). The event was organized by the strategic partnership of professorships from Syracuse University (USA), the American University (USA), University of Aalborg (Denmark), University of Lund (Sweden) as well as the Chair of Professor Dr. Silke Boenigk of the University of Hamburg (UHH).
Prof. Boenigk and the other participants discussed and exchanged views as well as ideas on aspects of governance and management in refugee camps. The workshop aimed at identifying research questions on the topic of refugee camps in order to develop a research agenda.
