Economics at the Department of Socioeconomics
In the economics (VWL) field of the department of socioeconomics, we conduct economic analyses of societal processes. Research and teaching cover a broad spectrum of thematic areas, theoretical approaches, and empirical methods. As part of the Department of Socioeconomics, we cooperate with staff and students from the other subject areas and the Department of Economics.
