With the expiration of the wiso license on December 31, 2025, the availability of daily newspapers has changed.

Starting 3 February 2026, the fees for issuing replacement library cards and library cards for external users as well as the fees for interlibrary loans will be increased. Library cards for students at University of Hamburg and other state universities will remain free of charge.
