Loan periods and renewals
Get an overview of your loan options in the Business and Economics Library and in the Social Sciences Library.
For students of Universität Hamburg or other state universities and citizens of Hamburg (Privatpersonen)

For students with children as well as students with a disability or chronic illness
For the one-time registration in your library account, please go to the circulation desk of the Business and Economics or Social Sciences Library.
Students of the faculties WISO or BWL with child or children please present your current student ID as well as a birth certificate of your child.
Please note that the registration is only possible during our service times: Monday - Friday: 9 am - 5 pm.

Information on borrowing items
- You can review the loan periods (expiry dates) of the media you have checked out by using your library account (Katalogplus).
- You can renew an item as long as it is not overdue and without reservation.
- Fines will be charged per item and commenced week according to the currently valid fee schedule.
- Please return the items with an exceeded loan period immediately. As long as you do not return these items, your library account has limited use.
