Reservation and request from closed stack
Have you conducted a literature search using the Katalogplus or beluga and found an interesting item that is currently checked out or is located in one of our stacks?
Reserve or request the item via the Katalogplus. Depending on the location of the book it might already be delivered to the circulation desk at the respective library on the following day.

Please note that it is not possible to reserve the special collection of the Social Sciences Library online.
You can go to your user account of the Katalogplus to view the items you have reserved.
As soon as the item you have reserved is returned, it will be listed in your user account under “loans / outstanding loans.” The item will be held for you for seven working days at the circulation desk of the respective library. If several copies of the same title from the textbook collection are reserved, only one copy will be reserved.
For items held by the Business and Economics Library you will also receive an email-notice.
Request from closed stack of the Social Sciences Library
If your research leads you to an item located in the closed stack of the Social Sciences Library, you may request the item directly via the Katalogplus.
Use the request button to order the item and pick it up at the circulation desk after the delivery time of max. 24 hours.
You will need a valid library card to make a request.
You may check your user account in the Katalogplus to see if a requested item has arrived. Upon arrival, the item can be found under the tab “loans” with the note “on desk.”
You may check loan options under loan periods / renewals.
