Research seminars
Researchers in the department are actively involved in numerous research seminars many of which are interdisciplinary. They explore important topics, often also integrating them into teaching within the master's programs. Doctorate and postdoctoral qualification

Early career researchers can obtain a doctorate or a postdoctoral qualification (Habilitation) from the Department of Socioeconomics. They are organizationally affiliated with one of the professorships. PhD students are supported by the faculty's Graduate School and can benefit from a variety of courses offered by the Graduate School, as well as events organized by the university or external providers.
