Doctorates and Habilitationen (postdoctoral qualification)
You can do a doctorate or Habilitation in the Department of Socioeconomics.
Young academics are assigned to a professor from the department. The faculty’s graduate school provides supervision in the respective discipline and offers a host of courses for doctoral researchers, who are also able to take other courses offered by the University or external institutions. See the graduate school website for information on doing a doctorate. If you are interested in doing a doctorate, check to see if there are any openings at the University or contact a professor whose work interests you.
Further information on postdoctoral qualifications ("Habilitation") can be found on the faculty websites of the Vice Dean's Office for Academic Culture and Career Development.
