Master's Thesis Topics
Dear Master’s Students of the Department of Socioeconomics,
We, the team of the professorship of Prof. Dr. Silke Boenigk, are pleased to present a list of current master’s thesis topics (PDF, May 2025; in German). The topics can be chosen by all students studying in a master’s program in the Department of Socioeconomics (MA PUNO, MiBAS, HRM, AWG, etc.).
We can supervise both partner-related topics as well as your own nonprofit-related master thesis topic. Partner-related topics are research projects that are conducted in cooperation with one of our partner organizations. In addition, we are happy to continue to supervise your own master’s thesis topic. This is possible in particular if you have already forged initial contacts with public or nonprofit organizations that would support your topic. Possible topics for your own proposal can also be found in the list linked above.
If one of the topics arouses your interest, you can bindingly register for it with the supervising research associate named in the list of topics by sending them a meaningful synopsis, including a rough outline, by email. Please first read our Guidelines for Academic Papers (PDF; in German).
Alternatively, you can check the Department of Socioeconomics’ website for information regarding the subject areas and capacities of the other business administration professorships.
Kind regards,
Prof. Dr. Silke Boenigk
