PAPI Software
The acronym PAPI stands for “paper-assisted personal interview.” This is a standardized type of personal interview during which the interviewer carries out an interview using a paper questionnaire and enters the interviewee’s answers directly into the questionnaire. The questionnaires can then be evaluated automatically in the WISO Research Lab.
The acronym PAPI is also used for “paper and pencil interview.” In this case, the interviewees fill out the questionnaire independently. The questionnaires are frequently sent to the interviewees and returned to the researcher by mail. The questionnaires can then be evaluated automatically in the WISO Research Lab.
The Research Lab team at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences is ready to provide you with advice and support in the Survey Lab throughout the planning, performance, and evaluation of PAPI surveys. In particular, we would be happy to support you with our expertise in the following:
- research project design
- operationalization
- questionnaire design
- random-sample planning and procedure
- collection, cleansing, and documentation of the data
- automatic evaluation, readout, and analysis of your data
We use the following software to perform PAPI surveys:
