oTree
oTree is a Python-based software for experimental economic research. The application runs (unlike z-Tree) in a web browser, enabling experiment programs to be designed very flexibly. Although oTree can be accessed from any computer with an Internet connection, we always recommend using the program in the controlled environment of Universität Hamburg’s WISO Experimental Lab.
Upon completion of a comprehensive hardware migration, an in-house oTree server will be available at Universität Hamburg for your laboratory experiments beginning in the second quarter of 2019.
The WISO Experimental Lab team will be happy to answer your questions or help you with problems. Contact the laboratory team(experiments.wiso"AT"uni-hamburg.de) if you have any questions. On the oTree website you will find demo applications with oTree as well as comprehensive documentation and tutorials on using oTree.
