Professor Boenigk's Research Chair visited the ServSig 2022 conference in Glasgow from June 16 to 18, where the international service research community met to exchange information about current research projects and results. On the premises of the Technology and Innovation Centre of the University of Strathclyde, all participants could listen to exciting presentations, make new contacts, and meet old acquaintances. Laura Hesse presented her project entitled "The role of peer engagement in an altruistic and social-driven context". Prof. Dr. Silke Boenigk, Carolin Saltzmann, and Nils Geib presented "Transformative Service Initiatives in the Public Sector: Work and Wellbeing for Refugees and Professionals". As part of the conference, members of ServCollab (Serving Humanity Through Collaboration), a research network in which Ms. Boenigk is active, met to discuss future research projects.
