November 17-20, 2021 marked the 50th anniversary of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA) International Conference. With a well-thought-out hygienic concept, the conference took place in Atlanta, GA (USA) under the overall theme "Reflections on Where We Are and How Far We Have Come!". Our doctoral researchers, Carolin Saltzmann, Nils Geib, and Laura Hesse were happy to personally attend the conference. They presented their currently developed research studies on the topics:
- "Blood Donor Relationship Ending: Reasons, Intention to Return, and Effective Recovery Activities" (C. Saltzmann)
- "Peer-to-Peer Giving: A Large Empirical Study on Fundraisers' Inspiration and the Champion Effect on Donations" (L. Hesse)
- "Improving Nonprofit Succession Management for Leadership Continuity: A Shared Leadership Approach" (N. Geib).
Overall, the conference again provided an excellent opportunity to establish and maintain research contacts.
