In the context of the seminar "German and Georgian Public and Nonprofit Challenges" in the Master Program "Interdisciplinary Public and Nonprofit Studies" (PUNO), the team of Prof. Boenigk was visited by a delegation from the GIPA Institute in Tbilisi, Georgia. GIPA has been a bilateral partner university of the WiSo Faculty of the University of Hamburg since 2017.
From April 22-25, 2019, students of the master programs PUNO and MIBAS discussed the public and non-profit sectors in both countries with fellow students of GIPA. Furthermore, the delegation visited various institutions from both sectors and thus had the opportunity to exchange views with practitioners.
The Research Seminar offered the students the opportunity to broaden their horizons on an international and intercultural level and to strengthen the partnership between the two universities on both sides.
