From November 15-18, Professor Boenigk visited this year's ARNOVA conference in Orlando, Florida, with our doctoral student Laura Hesse, M.Sc. and a research group from the PUNO master's program.
At the annual ARNOVA conference (Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action) in the USA, the international research community of nonprofit scientists and nonprofit employees from the field meet. This year, Professor Boenigk traveled with a large delegation from Hamburg. In addition to her doctoral student, Laura Hesse, she was accompanied by a group of students from the PUNO Master's program, who had received funding from the UHH's student research group funding program to attend the conference. The following research topics were presented:
- Non-donors (Prof. Dr. Silke Boenigk)
- Inclusive Volunteering (students of the PUNO Master's program)
- Peer Fundraising & AI (papers by Laura Hesse, M.Sc.)
- Brand Management (poster by Charlotte Aßmann, M.Sc.)
The conference offers an important platform for networking and exchanging research results and projects in the NPO sector. This gives participants a quick insight into the current state of global research and enables them to network further for their research projects.
