Visit from the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University
On May 23-24, 2019, 13 students of the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University (Indianapolis, USA), accompanied by Prof. Dr. Pamala Wiepking, were our guests in Hamburg. During a two-day seminar entitled "Comparative Philanthropy" the American students met with Hamburg students from the Master Interdisciplinary Public and Nonprofit Studies. The seminar included lectures on the donation system in Germany (Peter Schubert) and the USA (Pamala Wiepking), on the #UHHilft program (Annika Becker), as well as a workshop on the integration of refugees into the educational system.
