Professor Geiger elected as Executive Board Member for the European Group for Organizational Studies (EGOS)

As of July 1, 2021 Prof. Geiger will join the EGOS Executive Board as one of five board members for the next three years. EGOS is a scholarly association with about 3000 members which aims to further the theoretical and empirical advancements of knowledge about organizations, organizing and the contexts in which organizations operate. As a collective, one of its main aims is to maintain and provide a voice for the critical and analytical approaches of its members to the study of organization worldwide. It has two associated journals – Organization Studies and Organization Theory – and holds an annual conference (EGOS Colloquium) in July.
The last annual conference was hosted virtual by the University of Hamburg from 04.-06.- July 2020.
