Final theses and examination authorizations
You will receive final theses as usual from the Academic Office after the deadline check.
Until further notice, the final theses will be sent electronically to your university email address.
You can find detailed information on the various formal and content-related requirements for final theses for the different degree programs as well as the regulations for appointing examiners and/or the list of authorized examiners for final theses in the sectio Service für Studierende/Final Thesis.
The assessment report/review for the evaluation of a final thesis must make the evaluation comprehensible for the student in the sense of weighing up positive and negative feedback. Accordingly, no page length is specified for the assessment report/review. The letter templates to be used in the UHH corporate design can be found in the KUS-Portal. A digital copy of the signature of the examiner/reviewer is permitted. Please send your assessment report/review as a PDF to Studienbuero-sozoek.WiSo"AT"uni-hamburg.de via your work email address before the correction deadline.
Declaration of authorship for final theses
The declaration of authorship for final theses linked below must be submitted by the student together with the final thesis (see details under submitting the bachelor’s thesis or submitting the master’s thesis). It is therefore necessary for the student and the reviewers/examiners to agree on the use of GAI systems before work on the final thesis begins. As part of this agreement, the statements under part/point 2 of the declaration of authorship for final theses “Description of the use of GAI in the final thesis” must be discussed. After completing the final thesis, the student must provide the description of the use of GAI in the final thesis under part/point 2 of the declaration of authorship for final theses.
