Identity, Social Justice, and Climate Change Communication
This project examines the connection between social identities, perceptions of social justice, attitudes towards climate change and climate policy, and media consumption.
A first study, currently underway, uses surveys to investigate how individuals connect their self-ascribed identities with climate change, which dimensions of justice and fairness are important to them, and the role of socio-economic variables and media consumption in shaping their beliefs.
