Rahel Roloff (M. Sc.) joined Prof. Dr. Michael Brüggemann's team as a research associate in August 2024.
Her research focuses on climate communication. She is particularly interested in transformation processes in journalism.
In her doctoral thesis, she uses automated and qualitative content analyses, interviews and journalist surveys to investigate whether and how German television journalism is changing in terms of its climate reporting. The associated sub-project “Greenwashing the prime time?” examines climate and sustainability-related content in both advertising and program content.
