Dr. Anne Reif joined the team of Prof. Michael Brüggemann in October 2023 as a postdoctoral researcher in the project “B1 – Social constructions of climate futures” within the cluster of excellence CLICCS . She is also conducting research in the DFG project "The trust relationship between science and digitized publics" (TruSDi) at TU Braunschweig.
Her scientific profile lies at the intersection of science communication and digital communication. She explores public trust in science, its conditions and the (potential) effects of (digital) science communication. Her research has a particular focus on climate change as a scientific topic from the perspective of media users.
Anne Reif employs a wide range of empirical methods, including surveys in longitudinal and experimental designs, content analyses and qualitative interviews.
