Event Support

Would you like support with delivering courses in a hybrid format or recording them?

 Submit a request here and provide us with all the details. We will then get back to you shortly to let you know how we can assist you.

Please note:

As a general rule, we must limit ourselves to helping you help yourself so that we make efficient use of our limited resources and provide sustainable support to teaching staff. We may therefore ask you to reserve only specific equipment via the ‘Hardwareverleih Lehre’ portal. If necessary, we will show you how to use this equipment independently.

We generally require four weeks’ notice to finalize all details, coordinate staff, plan the technical aspects and conduct an on-site rehearsal.

The room should be available for at least one hour before the start of any event to allow for the careful set-up of technical equipment.

By the way, did you know that the lecture theatre and seminar rooms S07 / S27 at Von-Melle-Park 9, as well as rooms ESA West / East 221, are best suited for hybrid events and event recordings? These rooms are equipped with permanently installed media technology for this purpose.

We provide technical support for hybrid conferences, record presentations, and, if necessary, provide support in documentation of aforementioned events.

Lecture Series

We provide complete technical support in providing relevant media for the recording of presentations, video editing, post-production, and release of the recordings on platforms like Open-Olat or Lecture2go.

To determine the optimal setup for the microphones, we need to know the scope of the audio recordings being done.

Will people be speaking from just one fixed position, e.g., from behind a lectern or table (what would be the position of the presenters in case there are more than one)?

Does the speaker need plenty of room to move around?

Do you wish to record dialogues between participants of the event spread across the room?

What is the spatial layout of the venue?

To what extent do you need us to edit and publish the recordings (if need be)?

  • Just define the start and end of the recordings – or more?
  • Do you want the recordings to be published online? Is so on which platform and by when?
