Terms and Conditions of Use for the Digital Document Delivery Service (DDL)

Electronic delivery is only available to academic staff at Universität Hamburg.

Currently, we have extended the Digital Document Delivery Service to all students of Universität Hamburg.

Pursuant to Section 60a - 60h of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights (UrhWissG), we only provide documents that do not exceed the following scope:

Overall scope	Research, teaching & studies
Articles (in edited volumes or journals)	whole article
Monographs up to 25 pages	whole monograph
Monographs more than 25 pages	For academic staff - up to 75% if used for your own scientific research - up to 15% if used as teaching material in classes For students - up to 75% if used for your own scientific research (without forwarding) - up to 15% if used/forwarded within a small group (e.g. for learning or presentations)
Books out of print (not available for more than 2 years)	whole book

Persons requesting copies are responsible for ensuring that these are used and distributed in accordance with the German Act on Copyright and Related Rights (UrhWissG).
