Team Organization Studies presented research at the Academy of Management Conference in Seattle (USA)

After two years of meeting virtually this year, the annual Academy of Management Conference, which was themed “Creating A Better World Together” took place from 5 -9 August in Seattle, Washington (USA). The Academy of Management is the world’s largest management conference that attracts more than 12.000 scholars each year. Papers that are invited for presentation undergo a rigorous blind peer review process and only 40% of the submitted papers are actually accepted.
Iris Seidemann presented her paper “Caught in a Trap: Media’s Role in the Creation of a Paradox of Legitimacy Repair”, co-authored with Daniel Geiger, at the OMT paper session “Institutional Voids, Persistence, Complexity, and Repair” (Session 1554).
Lisa Harborth participated in the symposium “Organizing for resilience: How to organize in a world of adversity and flux” (session 11605), where she presented her paper “Towards a diachronic perspective on coordinating routines in crises: Enacting temporal elasticity”, co-authered with Daniel Geiger.
