The faculty’s knowledge exchange activities
The Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences sees knowledge exchange as research-based dialogue with people active in the political, business, and public administration sectors, in art and culture, and in civil society. Research results are developed cooperatively or co-creatively with non-university practitioners and applied to non-scientific contexts. Existing research is empirically enriched through exchange with civil society, stimulating the development of new research topics.
This form of knowledge exchange is undertaken by the researchers in the faculty in (externally funded) research projects, applied research, contract research, real-world laboratories, or as consultants and experts. The Faculty increasingly incorporates knowledge-exchange-related elements into its teaching activities through practice-based seminars as part of teaching collaborations, research internships, and final projects that students complete in collaboration with industry partners.
The Faculty's Knowledge Exchange Strategy (PDF) provides a structured overview of the diverse knowledge exchange activities carried out by researchers in the faculty, with a particular emphasis on research.
