International Exchange
As part of MIBAS, you can spend a semester or year abroad at one of our partner universities around the world. Here’s what you need to know!
Where can I study?
We have partnerships with universities around the world through the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences’ International Office as well as through the university’s central Department of International Affairs.
- Faculty exchange partners – these are mostly within Europe. Click on “Master Innovation, Business and Sustainability” for a list of exchange partners per country.
- UHH International Affairs central exchange partners – these are mostly outside of Europe.
How do I apply?
The application process depends on if you’re planning to apply for a faculty or central exchange. Visit their websites for all the details on how to apply:
- Application Process – Outgoing Exchange Students (Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences International Office)
- Application Process – Central Student Exchange Program (UHH International Affairs)
Will my studies be counted toward my degree?
Before going on exchange, you’ll have the courses you plan to take abroad approved in a so-called “Learning Agreement” with your program coordinator. Learn more about Learning Agreements here.
