Founding of the University of Hamburg Compared to other European universities, the UHH was founded relatively late. |

Launch of the Journalism module 1982: The course was established, specifically the Journalism module, which could be studied either as a minor subject within the Master’s degree or as an additional subject in diploma programmes or alongside the state examination. In 1982/83, teaching began in earnest. |
