Official letters of admission & enrolling at University of Hamburg (UHH)

After receiving your letter of admission in STiNE, you will need to officially accept your place on the program (“enroll”). You’ll find information on the documents required for enrollment as well as the enrollment deadline in STiNE with your letter of admission. Please read all information provided carefully!

MIBAS Orientation

In order to welcome you to MIBAS, there will be an an Orientation Event (OE) in October directly before the start of the first semester.

Here, you’ll learn about the program and university, meet professors and get to know your fellow students. We strongly recommend participation! The exact dates and schedule will be announced closer to the semester start.

PIASTA Welcome Week

PIASTA, a part of the central UHH International Affairs office, arranges a welcome week with a variety of events and activities to welcome international students, this year from September 30-October 4, 2024. We strongly recommend participating! Make sure to check the schedule and sign up for events as soon as possible, as they are often fully booked.

Start of lectures

Lectures will start on 14 October 2024. If you have problems getting your visa in time and are not able to be in Hamburg for the start of lectures, please get in touch with us (via mibas.wiso"AT"uni-hamburg.de).
