Professor Geiger won the „That’s Interesting Award“

Professor Dr. Daniel Geiger and Jun.-Prof. Dr. Anja Danner-Schröder won the „That’s Interesting Award“ at this year’s European Conference for Organization Studies in Copenhagen. The award is given each year to the paper that most innovatively pushes the boundaries of current thinking and challenges the taken for granted assumptions of the field. The paper entitled „Toward a relational understanding of time in routine performance“ that is build on an ethnographic case study of firefighting missions makes that case that our understanding of time is constructed and shaped by the routines that are enacted.
