We are proud to announce that the article “Crisis? What Crisis? The Contestation of Urgency in Creeping Crises” by Pia Geisemann and Daniel Geiger has been recognized as one of the most viewed papers published in the Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management in 2024. According to the publisher Wiley, the article ranks among the journal’s top 10% of most viewed papers within the first twelve months after publication.

The paper examines how urgency is socially contested in creeping crises and contributes to current debates in crisis and organization research.
