Professor Geiger wins That’s Interesting Award

Professor Dr. Daniel Geiger and Jun.-Prof. Dr. Anja Danner-Schröder won the That’s Interesting Award at this year’s European Conference for Organization Studies in Copenhagen. The award is given each year to the paper that most innovatively pushes the boundaries of current thinking and challenges the common assumptions in the field. The paper entitled "Toward a relational understanding of time in routine performance" built on an ethnographic case study of firefighting missions makes the case that our understanding of time is constructed and shaped by the routines that are enacted.
