I am very happy and honored that the German Research foundation DFG decided to award me the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize, the most important award for early career researchers in Germany.

I am very happy and honored that the German Research foundation DFG decided to award me the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize, the most important award for early career researchers in Germany. Ten recipients from all disciplines were chosen by a selection committee in Bonn appointed by the DFG and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The prizewinners will each be presented with the €20,000 prize on 28 May in Berlin.
