We expect our applicants to have 30 ECTS credits worth of basic interdisciplinary knowledge in the fields of human resources, statistics/methods of empirical research and, if applicable, labor law as well as 3 months of practical professional experience in HR management.
The admission requirements are described in the application section of the degree program website.

We expect our applicants to have basic knowledge of a total of 30 ECTS credits in human resources and labor law (at least 10 ECTS) and statistics/methods of empirical social research (at least 10 ECTS). You must demonstrate your knowledge when you apply (passed examinations); you will not be able to catch up in the first semester.
Ideally, you should have studied labor law, human resources, and statistics/methods of empirical social research in your bachelor's degree program and this should be evident in your transcript. If this is not the case, you can acquire this knowledge, for example: - at your university, by taking courses in other degree programs - at other state-recognized universities, e.g., through distance learning Enclose the relevant supporting documents with your application. Please note that confirmation of participation without a grade or course registration cannot be accepted as proof of acquired knowledge. Relevant training, e.g., in HR services, can also be recognized. The application must be accompanied by appropriate evidence (certificate, interim reference, employer's job description) of the activities you have carried out and their duration and scope.I have done several shorter internships. Can these be added together?
Yes. To apply, you must prove 3 months of practical work experience in HR management. Several short internships amounting in total to 3 months are also acceptable.
My 3-month internship ends after the application deadline. Can I still apply?
Yes. Enclose confirmation from company providing the internship with your application, stating the duration, scope, and area of work. Everything is fine if you complete the 3 months by 30 September at the latest. If, however, you have completed, for example, only 2 months by 30 September and wish to complete the last 4 weeks after that date, you do not fulfill the application criteria.
