Congratulations to our graduates!

On Friday, June 6, 2025, the Department of Social Sciences at Universität Hamburg celebrated the graduates of the class of 2024/2025 with numerous guests. A total of 80 graduates from seven degree programs received their graduation congratulations to enthusiastic applause. In his first speech as Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Schnapp welcomed those present. Maria Röthlingshöfer and Jonathan Deupmann spoke on behalf of all those honored and looked back on the many highs and few lows of their studies. The ProJournal Prize for the best thesis was awarded to three graduates of the Master's degree program "Journalism and Mass Communication". The Schmersahl sisters once again provided the musical accompaniment to this year's ceremony. Afterwards, there was the opportunity to toast to the future in a festive setting and enjoy the evening together. Many thanks to everyone who attended and especially to the many helping hands in the organization and implementation!
