For several months now, we have been working to find a new home for the media from the Center for Gender & Diversity (BZGD) library within the Wiwi-Library. The time has finally come: The move will take place in August 2026. What does this mean for you as a user of the Wiwi-Lib and the BZGD?

Schedule:

11.08.2026	Last day for borrowing items at the BZGD's old location (Monetastraße 4)
17.-21.08.2026	Moving operations take place daily from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are working in the Wiwi Library during this time, please expect slightly higher background noise in the entrance area and along the pathways leading to the subject sections 4–7 and 8–10.
22.-30.08.2026	Cleanup work
31.08.2026	The BZGD collection is once again available at its new location in the Business and Economics Library (Von-Melle-Park 5)

 

Borrowing during the move:

Unfortunately, borrowing materials from the BZGD will not be possible from 12 - 30 August due to the move.

Returns during the move:

From 12 -30 August, books borrowed from the BZGD can only be returned at the Wiwi-Library (Von-Melle-Park 5, 1st floor).

We will provide information about the new terms of use at the end of August.
