Due to extensive renovation work in our building Allende-Platz 1, the library will not open until 4 pm Monday through Friday. We expect the limited opening hours to last until 15 October 2022.

The extreme noise pollution during the renovation will make concentrated learning and working on-site impossible.

Therefore we offer the following opening & service hours starting Monday, 25 July 2022:

Services: What can you do when and where?

Borrowing media

You can borrow books from the stock of the Sowi-Bib only during the opening hours (see above)! The same applies to picking up reservations, new acquisitions, and orders from the Sowi closed stack.

Returning media

You can return your borrowed books from the stock of the Sowi-Bib in the Wiwi-Bib (Von-Melle-Park 5, Staircase A, 1st Floor) or between 4 pm - 9 pm in the Sowi-Bib.

Workstations and discussion rooms

You are welcome to use the workstations and discussion rooms in the Wiwi-Bib (Von-Melle-Park 5, Aufgang A, 1st floor) between 9 am and 4 pm. From 4 pm the workstations and discussion rooms in the Sowi-Bib are also available.
