8 January 2021
The closure will last until 31.01.2021. Please use the available services.
- For students and academic staff of the UHH we offer our delivery services of PDF documents:
- Digital Document Delivery Service (DDL)
You can request electronic copies of journal articles or excerpts of books located in the print collections of the Business and Economics Library, the Social Sciences Library, and the International Tax Institute Library.
Use our online form to research and order.
- Campuslieferdienst (CaLief)
Log in to Katalogplus with your library card. Order excerpts from journals and books from Stabi and the affiliated specialized libraries.
Since the summer semester 2020, the WiSo library is also a CaLief cooperation partner.
- For the academic staff of the faculties WiSo and BWL we also offer the delivery service - borrowing from the stacks. To provide this service, we need a delivery address since the books cannot be borrowed on-site.
- You can access our licensed e-media via VPN-client. Find out more about e-media, specialist databases, and other online services on our website under "Research".
- If you have any questions, please contact us via our contact form. Inquiries will be answered promptly.
Borrowing and returning books
- Borrowing and returning items from our locations will not be possible during the closure.
- No late fees will be charged for items due for return while we are closed. Reminders that books are due will not be sent.
- In urgent cases, you can return media from our holdings to the State and University Library (SUB).
- The ordering function in the catalogs is switched off for our collections until further notice.
- For your convenience, we advise the watch list (book bag) in Katalogplus to keep track of the books you want to order later.
- We will inform you when it is possible to order books again.
Also, check out the current services of the State and University Library (SUB).
At the moment we do not yet know when and with which services the WiSo library will reopen again.
We will keep you informed via our news channel.
We are sorry for the inconvenience and wish you a Happy New Year.
Your WiSo-Library team
