Closure of all WiSo Library locations as of Wednesday, 16 Dec 2020.

The Business and Economics Library, the Social Sciences Library and the IIFS Library are closed as of Wednesday, 16 Dec 2020.
The closure will initially be in effect until 10 Jan 2021, and is part of UHH's current efforts to contain CoVid-19.
During this period, borrowing and returning items at our locations will not be possible.
- We will not charge fees for items due for return during this period. We will send neither reminders of the end of loan periods nor overdue notices.
- In urgent cases, you can return items from our collections to the State and University Library.
- We will cancel all items still on the collection shelves in the self-service area on your library account.
- We will cancel all orders made until 16 Dec 2020, 12:00 PM.
- The ordering function for our collections in the catalogs has been disabled.
- For your convenience, we advise the watch list in Katalogplus to keep track of the books you want to order later.
We will inform you when you will be able to order again.
There are no workstations available. Reservations that have already been made have been cancelled.
In the period from 16 Dec 2020 to 23 Dec 2020 and from 4 Jan 2021 to 8 Jan 2021 we offer the following services:
- You can contact us via our contact form. Inquiries will be answered promptly.
- Orders via our Digital Document Delivery Service/DDL for academic staff and students of the UHH will be processed until further notice. We will announce changes here in the news section.
- For academic staff of the faculties WiSo and BWL we also offer our Delivery Service - Borrowing from the stacks. Please note, that we currently need a delivery address, because items cannot be picked up on-site.
In the period from 24 Dec 2020 to 3 Jan 2021 the library will be closed completely. We will process requests and orders sent during our holidays, from Monday, 4 Jan 2021.
