The seminar focuses primarily on the relationship between theory and practice in business ethics. The seminar will be held in English, meaning that coursework, presentations and papers can be submitted in English only.

Lernziel: | Students will acquire knowledge of theoretical concepts of business ethics that will then be applied to practices of international companies. They will be enabled to apply their learnings to specific practical problems and reflect upon the ethical aspects of business behavior. |
Vorgehen: | This seminar consists of two phases: After the presentation and allocation of topics at the beginning of the semester students enter the writing phase where they work on their topics and write their term papers. During the writing phase students are supported by a tutor. After the term paper submission the seminar reconvenes on two full-day presentation days where students present and discuss their research findings in groups. |
Literatur: | Introductory literature will be provided following the topic allocation. |
Zusätzliche Hinweise zu Prüfungen | The grade is comprised as follows: 50% paper (10-12 pages), 50% group presentation and discussion of findings |
