I. STRATEGISCHE UNTERNEHMENSFÜHRUNG asynchron, Lecture2Go Start: 18 October 2022 This course is taught in German. The course Strategic Corporate Management consists of a lecture and tutorial and will take place in a blended learning format in the winter semester 2022/23. This means that the lecture will be taught digitally in a largely asynchronous format and the tutorials will take place in a face-to-face format. The content of the lecture will be made available in the form of videos on the Lecture2Go platform and can be accessed by students at a time of their choosing. Important: the lectures on 18.10.2022, 06.12.2022 and 24.01.2023 will take place virtually as synchronous Zoom sessions. However, in order to be able to react appropriately to changes in the pandemic situation, the Gilbert Chair will follow the Presidential Board's phased plan and move teaching to the virtual space if necessary. CASE STUDY SHELL Lecture [Nr. 23-31.43.222] The course is taught in English. It is divided into two units: The kick-off meeting and formation of groups will take place on Thursday, 20 October 2022, 2 pm – 5 pm, Room A 411, VMP 9. During the kick-off meeting, Shell representatives will present the company Royal Dutch Shell and the assignment of the case study. The kick-off meeting will be followed by a phase during which students will prepare both an oral presentation of their case study results and a paper. Both presentation and paper are prepared jointly as a group. Students will present the results of the case study and discuss these with Shell management representatives during the presentation day at Shell’s headquarters (or via Zoom) on Friday, 9 December 2022, 9 am – 6 pm. III. CASE STUDY SHELL

The course is taught in English. It is divided into two units:

The kick-off meeting and formation of groups will take place on Thursday, 20 October 2022, 2 pm – 5 pm, Room A 411, VMP 9. During the kick-off meeting, Shell representatives will present the company Royal Dutch Shell and the assignment of the case study.

The kick-off meeting will be followed by a phase during which students will prepare both an oral presentation of their case study results and a paper.
