Assessment criteria

Fair and transparent performance evaluation is of key importance to us. Therefore, you will find below a list of assessment criteria used at our Chair in grading term papers, final theses and presentations. Our assessment criteria are subdivided into seven categories and presented as statements, which reflect the ideal situation with regard to each individual criterion.   

Furthermore, we have prepared a document for students that summarizes and explains all correction marks used at our Chair. The correction marks refer to final exams as well as to term papers, bachelor’s and master’s theses.
