Alexander Pfannkuche studied Socioeconomics with a focus on Economics and completed the interdisciplinary Master's program in Economic and Sociological Studies at the University of Hamburg. He worked as a research assistant at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen for three years and has been working as a research assistant for teaching at the Department of Socioeconomics since the winter semester 2012/13.
Since 2009, he has been teaching macroeconomics, economic policy, economic integration, macroeconomics of open economies, foreign trade policy, employment and labor market, as well as scientific foundations of economics.
