Final thesis

1. Topics
In general, no topics are proposed by the professorship. Students are asked to submit their own suggestions. Usually, the topics are oriented towards the research focus of the professorship or one of the lectures read at the professorship. Other interesting topics can also be suggested.

2. Prerequisites
Successful participation in at least one course (seminar or lecture) of the professorship.

3. Application
Please present your desired topic briefly (<300 words) in the form of an abstract. Make clear your own motivation for the research question and the connection to (current) scientific articles.

Please send the abstract and a proof of your previous achievements (transcript of records) to Ms. Leinonen.

For papers written in the courses of Professor Fritsche and his research assistants, the formal requirements that will be communicated in the course are binding.

Generally, you should have your work proofread, preferably by persons from outside the subject area. Remember to allow enough time for this. Like this not only the expression and spelling, but also the comprehensibility and consistency of the content of your work will be checked. Otherwise you can also use the assessment criteria to check whether your work meets or is likely to meet the requirements before you complete it.
