Changes of the subject-specific provisions (FSB) and implications for students

• The amendments to the curriculum affect students who started the program in winter semester 2025/26 or earlier.
• Certain modules and courses will deviate from the former standard study plan.
• Completing all required modules under the previous subject-specific provisions remains possible until the end of the summer semester 2027.
• As of the winter semester 2027/28, the new provisions will also apply to students who enrolled in or before winter semester 2025/26.
• Students who complete all required coursework by the end of the summer semester 2027 may still submit their master’s thesis during the winter semester 2027/28, provided they register for the thesis in the summer semester 2027.
• Students are strongly advised to plan their individual study program carefully and in a timely manner to avoid delays in completing the degree.
