Winter Term 25/26

Until April 15th	Once we have received and reviewed your nomination from your home university, you will receive a confirmation email from us.	Doesn't apply to Free Movers.
End of April	You will receive instructions for your First Application via email.	Doesn't apply to Free Movers.
Mid May	You will receive the information regarding the application for a dormitory room from us, including the application form.	Doesn't apply to Free Movers.
Mid May	We will issue your offical "Letter of Acceptance"
End of May	You will receive detailed information on how to do your online application in STiNE (our campus management system) via email. Please don’t start this STiNE-online application procedure until you have received our instructions.
Start / Mid of July	You will receive an e-mail from our “Studierendenwerk” (Organization in charge of university housing) with their decision about a place in the student dormitories.	Doesn't apply to Free Movers.
Aug.	The Course Catalogue for the Winter Term will be published. The course catalogue from the last winter term can give you an impression of the possibilities concerning your studies in Hamburg. Make sure to choose the right faculty (either the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences or the Faculty of Business Administration) and only use courses for “International Incoming Students”.
	Our Buddy-Program coordinator will get in touch with you. Each one of you will have the opportunity to get connected with a German student (Buddy) who will support you in Hamburg. We strongly recommend you to make use of this great offer.
	You will receive an invitation to our Welcome Days which will take place one week before the Lecture Period starts. The events are mandatory - so please start planning your arrival whilst bearing in mind these dates.
	You will receive information about the registration procedure for German Intensive Courses.	They will take place in September before our Welcome Days.
During Sep.	Please submit the proof of your health insurance to the Campus Centre of our university.	You can find the description of the procedure here.
Mid September	Mandatory First Welcome Day online about the course registration procedure, course choice, learning agreement.
Mid-End of September	The German Intensive Courses are taking place
Beginning of October	Course registration online (the procedure will be explained during the Online Welcome Session)
October 06-October 10	Mandatory in-person Welcome Week in Hamburg with our team one week before lectures start
