BAföG (federal student loan scheme)

BAföG certificates in accordance with Section 48 (pink certificates) are issued by the course and examination managers  of the Academic Office in the Department of Economics. If you need a certificate in accordance with Section 48 BAföG, please fill out the upper portion (personal information) of the pink form provided by BAföG and submit it to the academic office via email. The academic office checks to see if you have earned the number of ECTS credits specified by the head of the examinations board.

Students in the master’s degree programs must earn 30 credits per semester.

If you are studying economics as a minor, please direct any questions you have about BAFöG to the academic office responsible for your main subject. Students in teacher training should contact the Central Examination Office for Teacher Training (Zentrales Prüfungsamt für Lehramtsprüfungen, ZPLA). 

Your course and examination manager will notify you once the certificate is issued.
