Service for Incoming students
Please see the course catalog for incoming students.
Please note: Bachelor’s students may not attend courses for master’s students and vice-versa.
In order to register for courses, please complete the online form. For all incoming students in the bachelor’s and master’s programs in economics, course registration takes place in the first two weeks of the lecture period in consultation with an academic advisor. Incoming students must register for courses at the latest by the second week of the lecture period. If you have any questions please contact the responsible departmental coordinator during office hours.
Please note: There is no late registration, nor may students withdraw from the program after this two-week period. When you register for a course, you automatically register for the first exam.
You may attend courses offered by other faculties. You are responsible for registering for these courses on your own and will need to speak to the responsible instructor about attendance.
Courses usually conclude with a final written exam. A written exam requires the student to complete a predefined task under supervision, independently, and using permissible materials only. A written exam can last between 45 and 180 minutes. Written exams may also be given in the form of a multiple-choice test.
Exams for bachelor’s and master’s students will take place during the regular examination periods.
For each course, there are two alternative examination dates: one at the end of the semester and one prior to the beginning of the next semester. Incoming students are automatically registered for the first examination date. Please inform the departmental coordinator if you would prefer to register for the second examination date.
