Reporting missed examinations

Reporting missed examinations (illness)

If you miss one or several examinations due to illness or other reasons for which you are not responsible and you can no longer de-register for that exam, submit a form about missing the examination(s) immediately.

The form must include proof of your reasons for failing to take the examination (e.g., doctor’s note). Your application will be processed as quickly as possible. If your application is successful, you will be notified via your STiNE account. If your application is unsuccessful, you will be informed via email.

Important: Teacher training students must use Form 5 from the ZPLA and send it to Bogenallee 11, 20144 Hamburg.

Application for recognition of hardship (missing an examination)

I am/was not able to take part in the module (partial) examination for the course (listed below) and I herewith request that this failure to take the examination, due to hardship, not be assessed as “failed.”

The proof (e.g., doctor’s note) muss prove hardship and provide information about duration.
